Formed in 2019, the Geology a group has helped us to learn about and experience the varied rocks in Skye and how they were formed amongst other things. All Geological topics are covered by our own 2 experts including volcanos, continent formation and movement and the aging of rocks and many more. This is one of our most popular groups.

Open to all members, no matter your experience level, beginner to Professor! Group meetings will be varied and include indoor and outdoor events at various locations across the island.

Meetings are publicised on the Isle of Skye U3A website ‘Events Page’ and the Members Facebook ‘Timeline’.
