The Isle of Skye u3a is part of an international non-profit making movement which brings together people who are no longer in full-time employment. Make the most of life and join more than 430,000 UK wide members exploring new ideas, skills and interests It’s easy to make friends and have fun when you are doing something together in an informal environment.

Skye u3a celebrates what life has to offer when one has more time on one’s hands. It gives you the chance to develop your interests, share your skills, teaching and learning while making new friends and enjoying yourself.

We have over a hundred members who have a wide range of interests; and are always open to trying new ones. The current range of activities encompass art, bridge, gardening, meditation, play-reading, archaeology, several walking groups, nature and photography. The decision about what to do is made by the members for the members.

For a modest annual fee of £15.00, you can join as many groups as you wish. Joining in is made easier when you’re surrounded by others who have similar interests to you.

Most months we have a meeting where you can get together, chat and listen to some great speakers.
