June Report
We have been very lucky throughout June to have Janet Hey giving us all instruction in Batik ( a traditional textile made using an intricate wax- resist dyeing technique that creates vibrant, detailed patterns using 100% cotton) which we have really enjoyed.
We have also continued to produce our own art work as well. Many thanks to Gail for opening up and looking after everything whilst I was away.
In July we will be meeting at members homes to draw and paint from there. Fingers crossed for some good weather
26th May
Lino cut printing on 25th of November
We were very honoured to have Kathleen Lindsley from the Raven Press Gallery to show us how to make Lino prints
June 2025
This month we have been concentrating on our own art work apart from on Tuesday 17th June where the whole group followed a YouTube tutorial painting a watercolour seascape- all very different but great fun! A couple of pictures here and a lovely drawing of a barn by Lindsey.
