Skye u3a Gardening group is for Group members to share experiences, knowledge ideas and plants between ourselves. To enjoy each other company through outings to gardens either public or our own. Currently using Facebook for main interaction
June Report
On Sunday 20th June the Gardening Group spent a sunny afternoon enjoying Joy Lumb's garden in Uig.
This beautiful large, diversely planted garden - which clearly showed the skill and hard work put into it - was very much admired by the members present.After our tour of the garden , we were invited to share a much welcomed afternoon tea with delicious home baking.
Joy's garden certainly lived up to her name
The next meeting is on Sunday 19th July at Plockton.
The main garden being Lilia's Garden Rudha Mor which includes a 1.6 kilometre walk through beautiful woodland and a large wild flower garden.
Also the intention is to walk along the main street to admire the gardens which stretch down to the shoreline.
