The Meditation Group, led by Harish Davda meets on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month.. Some meetings will be meditation and others meditation walks. These will be notified via email to those who are subscribed to the circulation list. Currently meditation meetings will take place via a mixture of Zoom and face to face sessions.
Meditation or mindfulness simply involves following techniques to find space and time for oneself just ‘to be’. This regular discipline offers numerous benefits including…
- Reduction of stress and anxiety.
- Greater relief from physical pain and worries.
- Better sleep.
- Better health.
- Greater happiness.

Activities include:
- Meditation sessions.
- Discussion of techniques.
- Creating a discipline of regular meditation.
- Linking meditation to Enneagram (psychological typology for personal growth) and Neuroscience (ways of learning to use the mind and brain effectively to achieve personal growth).
- Meditation Walks.
Group leader, Harish and his wife Clemencia have been meditating for more than 20 years. He has taught meditation as part of Stress Management training with his clients in the past. He has also been part of numerous meditation groups when he lived in Sussex.
